Earth: One Amazing Day (2017)
Loud music ruins the movie
Robert Redford says early on to listen to the sounds of the animals to the rising sun, but who can hear with the loud music. Only lasted 10 minutes in and had to turn it off because it was so frustrating. This seems to be a common issue that many have complained about but no one is doing anything about it. The few scenes that I did see in the movie were beautiful, but the music ruined it. Redford did speak clearly, however the music sometimes drowned him out. I think it would be a nice option, like subtitles, to be able to turn off background music. I believe voice and music are on different tracks, so it should be possible. More viewers need to complain about it.
WALL·E (2008)
One of the best
Great film, what's not to like. Great visuals, animation, touching, funny, and a love story for the whole family. Wall-e is a simple story told well. Highly recommend to all.
When We Were Apollo (2019)
Great documentary ruined by the constant piano music
Unfortunately we had to stop the documentary because we couldn't tolerate the jazz piano music that had no place in this movie. The background music was so loud at times that we couldn't hear the speaker. Such as shame. There should be an option at the beginning of a movie, like there is for the sound and subtitles, to turn of the background music. We recently wanted to watch the highly rated series Walker, but had to abort because of the same loud background music.
