Godzilla, just cam back from it 2 minutes ago. Please don't read on if you want to watch the movie anyway. May be spoilers will follow in the comment below. It reminded me of John Carter, you get a great thing and spoil it to the point that its so bad, I hated it. I can't give it more than 4.5, 3 of them for Bryan Cranston, 1.5 for non shaky camera. Many things in the movie are waste full, if you are spending millions of dollars please find some critic to tell you the plot holes , obvious ones. 1.The guy's dad died in 1945 in Hiroshima, movie is set up in 2014, so the guy should be at least 69 years old, but the character was no more than 50 years old. 2. Your husband is stuck in a nuclear disaster and you put your phone on silent and watch TV with your kid. 3. biggest cast member dies by falling off a railing. 4. 15 years of science study no input what so ever to the film by scientists. 5. Main lead's wife & kids added nothing to the film, they were just plain boring. 6. You have 10,000 nuclear weapons in the world, and those stupid things stick to a tiny bomb you are planting. 7. Even if all the world stand still, Godzilla will solve your problems, oh wait, no - he will kill some by breaking the bridge just for the kicks. 8. you can ride where ever you want, be the smart ass all the way if you are a US marine. 9. You should move the warhead by train so that it can take hours, then train blows up, somehow those things leave the bomb alone, then you go in with helicopters to pick the bomb, then those things will again follow the bomb, just for the kicks. I can go on and on and on, but I don't want to waste anymore of my time. Please don't go to watch this stupid movie, and rent the 1998, that one is 10000% better than this Cr#$. Elizabeth Olsen puts her son on a bus with a co-worker that is fleeing San Francisco; minutes later, when Godzilla is entering San Francisco Bay, the bus is shown on the Golden Gate Bridge heading INTO San Francisco rather than OUT; the co-worker is no-where to be seen on the bus; a cable falls directly in front of the bus, blocking their attempt to escape; a few seconds later, the cable is gone and the bus is able to escape. Horrible, horrible, horrible film. I simply cannot believe that critics are raving about this movie; the critic for salon.com -- an individual I'd thought was pretty reasonable -- says this film is "the best action films since Jaws." and kids are playing cheerfully in the bus watching tanks, missiles being fired on the monsters, and anyway what happened to the Admiral? where is US president? , general population will stand by the glass windows to watch the monsters fight, dog on a leash strapped to the tree will somehow break the leash and ran away from tsunami.

Shaky Camera ruined it for me

I love Die Hard, but shaky camera ruined it for me this time. I can't see because 35% film use shaky camera, 25% out of focus, blurry and 10% rapid zoom ins. Please STOP using Shaky Camera in Films, PLEASE :I am some of those remaining species, who go to watch feature films in cinemas. I never download a movie for free, I pay to netflix. Just doing my part to save the cinema I love. But, some directors and movie making houses, make stupid moves. One of them is use of unwanted, un-needed, shaky camera. So, I want to get my voice heard. If you are a fan, go see the movie, but if you don't like Shaky Camera, then think twice.

TO make sure, to be fair, I will say I never heard any Hunger Games books before I saw this movie. So I had no idea what it was going to be like. I didn't even saw the trailer before going to see it. So with a fresh mind I sat into my seat with my wife, my aunt and my brother in law beside me. Movie started and the first thing i noticed was the shaky camera. It made very uncomfortable to watch the movie, I was looking around and found some people looking around too. I was confused, should I stay or go. I was the one who dragged everyone to the movie, I can't leave. So I had to sat down for the entire painstaking 2.5 hours.
The plot was like The Running Man on baby formula. Kids are selected from different zones to fight & die for a reality television show. For me it's a worn out idea, there are many other films made on the same storyline, like Battle Royale, The Tournament, The Long Walk and so on.
The Acting was good, I liked Jennifer Lawrence, and couple of more actors. But I was not able too see much of the acting because of the shaky cam, it was all blurry, couldn't see the facial expressions or other details.
Violence was not there. There is more violence in the cartoons these days than this film. And they are saying they used shaky camera to avoid getting a higher Sensor Ratings, I pity on people who buy that.Although, it was kids kill other kids film, there was no emotional attachment with the characters. When a little girl died of some poison, I heard someone crying behind my seat, a 40 something old lady was all up in the tears, I looked towards my brother in law, we shared a big smile. I mean there was no emotions attached. I am an emotional guy, I cry whenever I get a chance, i.e. Saving Private Ryan, Million Dollar Baby and list goes on, but this film don't have it. May be the people who read the book are pre-attached with the characters and just waiting them to be dead on the screen and start crying, is a whole different story. But for a first timer like me, it was a joke. If the comedy was intentional, it was the best comedy I saw in years, but it was not.
Direction was bad, very bad. I heard the director is going away, good news for the series lovers. Shaky Camera, no emotional attachment with the characters, no character development, plot holes, unclear, no edge in the film, very smooth going, there was not a moment in the film when I cared for anything, if a girl is going to die, even if all the cast was dead and everything get destroyed, I wouldn't care.
I am giving this a 6 rating, because my wife loved it. she will kick my b*** if I give it a lower rating like -10 or something.

greatest musical movie of Bollywood ever produced.. and if you don't like it you don't like bend it like beck-ham, Mansoon wedding, guru, Jhankaar beats etc. and you don't deserve to watch this movie instead goto some stupid, unscripted and foolish movie where there is no story no soul in film but stupidity of rich producers and dumb directors.. this is a great epic, great love songs and awesome performances like Dino, Sanjay and Rinki Khana. you must see this and hear the music inside you. songs are very cool and direction is awesome. Dino and Sanjay are very good. they gave very impressive performance, its their first movies but they acted like real actors, both Sanjay and Dino are stage actors and you will like them in this film.. just rent and watch it

Direction,Acting and Writing plus the musical soul this movie have. very good compilation this movie is.. a must see..must own ..this movie is awesome.. i liked "pyaar-mein-kabhi-kabhi" of "sanjay-Suri"..but this was awesome.. musical and very funny.. little jokes..and one liners.. are awesome.. if anybody don't like this movie may be he/she/it don't deserve to watch these real kind of movies..i will place this movie in "mansoon wedding", "bend it like beck-ham" (and other independent movies i liked)category..\

producer and director and scriptwriter made sure that they will kill the spiderman in this movie..and they did it with success.. yes it is making money..worldwide..but no body knows before purchasing the ticket that movie is going to be dumbest movie of all the times.. why they make superheros to tell a story about themselves(producer and director and scriptwriter) make your own character if you are a sissy and like to cry in a corner.. these guys don't even know the definition of superhero. superhero is for action .. not to play dumb.. watch old cartoons or read original comics.. .. or give up making superhero movies..

when i saw this movie ..i thought director never watched it before releasing..otherwise this movie should be not out there to grab money from our pockets. so many things in this movie are stupid , why would anybody shoot the non-sense.. i always wonder the screen writer have to write a story..then approve it from some studio or producer..then director and actors read it..are all those persons are stupid and they did nothing to revise the script..to make it look like to present on screen..and the distributer too may be stupid enough to pass this kind of movies to the theaters..and who suffer from all those stupidness --you and me who buy tickets and waste our time..my advice ..dont go to this movie..ever..
