Cheaper by the Dozen (2003)

Nice on that!

This movie has it all, Drama (which is minimal and badly acted) Comedy, Tense Situations, Alcohol and Sexual references. I threw on this movie during my lunch break expecting a cheesy kid movie ala, "I Downloaded a Ghost" or something corny like that. To my chagrin this movie was hilarious. The first 10 minutes sucked me in and I ended up going 45 minutes over on my lunchtime just to watch more and more of it. I ended up taking it home and then purchasing it a few days before the release date.

Steve Martin is a middle aged man who has been married for 23 years and has 12 kids. He coaches College football and lives in the city. They bring us up to speed on how they conceived 12 kids in the first place. All hell breaks loose when Martin is offered a coaching job at a better college and is forced to move the whole family to a new city. The kids hate the idea and all things go wrong when the mother gets offered to go on tour after completing her book, leaving Martin with a football team to coach and 12 kids to raise. The laughs are un-countable, and the storyline will actually keep you entertained thoroughly.

Grade - B : 3 and a half/5 stars

Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003)

Possibly the greatest movie.

I saw this movie tonight, not knowing what to think. I saw some advance word on IMDB and I looked at the originals imdb page and got the impression that it was horrible. I heard from a friend that this movie was supposed to be much better. If this movie is much better, From Kelly to Justin must be the equivilent to Lord of the Rings.

[possible spoilers] The movie starts out in a cornfield where a little kid (maybe 10 or 11) gets abducted by the creeper. Pure comedy when you see the expression on his dads face after they were chasing after. We then get pulled to a school bus of high school kids coming back from a basketball game. AFter getting two flat tired weird stuff starts to happen. They notice the same type of metal star flattened their tire, and there is no CB or cell phone signal anywhere. The film really unwinds a lot and it's a good comedy flick without trying to be comedy [/possible spoilers]

The movie is good to watch, nice special effects and a little greusome. At the end, though, it really drags on. I really cannot see the director or the editor doing their job, and actually believing that people will take the movie seriously or be scared though.

This movie had what it took to make a complete blockbuster A+ action movie. Instead It had a couple of good sequences and the good, hard, sturdy groundwork that it laid down for a great movie was shattered by a girl. The movie then turns into a cheesy love story where the couple has to rescue 400 asians that are being illegally shipped into France. Good story and action, but gets dull about half way into the movie. The first half is definetly worth the 4 bucks it'll cost to rent.

I'd rather watch Anti-Smoking Commercials than this because at least you'd see real horror. I saw this film when it was fresh in theaters. Hearing no negative feedback (or any for that matter) I thought it looked interesting so I went to see it. Considering I was one of about 4 people in the whole theater I jumped to the conclusion that this movie was bad, and was it. The whole movie is very dark in scenery and in acting.

The movie is about a website (feardotcom.com) that if you go there some dead chick asks you if you want to play a game, and then eventually kills you. Behind the website is a snuff film maker that shows footage of him killing people 'erotically.' The director of this movie must has some screws loose in his head. It's like a cheap cheesy very poorly done 8mm ripoff.

I'm all for movies in the 'Bottom 100' of IMDB. I enjoy movies that the critics hate. But this movie just makes you wonder, who would put out money to release this?

Possibly the most ingenius show on television. Three kids go at it in american gladiator type events. Perfect host Mike O' Malley gets into it, with a over the top obstacle 'The AGGRO CRAG' Brilliant '
