I am a Christian and I was amazed by the story. I cried through much of this. It was very tender and spoke about people's believes in God and in Heaven. Colton the son of the Pastor and his wife went to Heaven while he was operated on. I am not sure if he died temporarily to go there or not. Colton is revealed some things to his father that he could not have known before. Colton revealed a relative of the Pastor was there and recognized him when the Pastor showed Colton the picture of him. Some people believe Colton made up things and one was the Pastor's wife. Colton mentioned to his mother that he met his sister in Heaven and he went on to say this sister died in his mother 'tummy' and was not given a name. There is no way this young kid would have known this. The movie is very touching I felt there was too much kissing with the Pastor and his wife I also felt the Pastors wife's clothes should have been less revealing. I love this movie and recommend people watching it. We all go through things and sometimes get mad at God but in the end we know he loves us.

It is full of mystery and suprise that are explained in the epidsode about a stolen diamond necklace. There are some nice actors in this one is Erik Estrada who played in a TV series . Allie is a pretty lady who is curious and gets involved with the stolen diamond necklace. What is surprising is that Allie the actress is married in real life to Carlos Penavega who is Sam and he is the star of this series and is a detective. Jesse Moss is in this and is another good actor who plays a cop in some of these mystery series. Good episode to watch

I like this series but it has changed a lot..Now Ruth who is related to the Commissioner is a cop but acts loud and stupid and tries to get all the attention. In this episode. Ciss who is sister of the millionaire & Josephine who is a housekeeper for the millionaire are lesbians in this episode kiss at the end. They call themselves partners. This series is going downhill.
The writers make Christians look bad. They show Voodoo celebrations & promote Saint Marie as an island full of Christians. You cannot be both. They have Christian marriage and funeral services. JP was married and you don't hear about his wife anymore or that he is married. They give Christians a bad name. The healer in another episode is gay, pretends he is married, prays before believers & lays hands on people. You cannot be a homosexual and be a Christian Pastor, Rev or anything else.
This episode is about a millionaire getting killed who has no respect for his family or workers. His will is brought up and things about his new wife.
It shows the cops letting things pass that are illegal like Ruth having a police record and people betting on crab races which is illegal. I hope it goes back to honorable police.
The best actors are Florence, Catherine who is kind hearted and JP as truthful, smart, honest and loving characters. Christians and millionaires are not perfect but they should not be presented as negative people in episodes. The writers & producers promote heathen celebrations and constant drinking as a good thing & with women in low cut clothes. I wish they would stick to the mystery of solving crimes

There is a mediation group on the island that do things together and take advice from the leaderand his wife. They use meditating and counseling with their followers. Daniel the leader gets killed early. His followers have secrets and reasons to kill Daniel. He gets his way and is a control freak. His wife has to do what he says and she is afraid of him. Meditation and Yoga is
a religion.
Years ago I was involved in a mediation cult. I say cult because it gets people to believe in things by mediation a form of hypnotism. John the group leader told us it is for relaxation. He claimed it was not a religion. Class started with lights off in a room and him talking us down,telling us "you are laying on a beach relaxing in the sun etc. We started believing him as he planted things in our mind this in our minds. I did not like the feeling I felt it was like brainwashing. I stayed because there were people more educated then me and they make me feel welcome. I went to a church service and the priest sprinkled me with holy water. I do believe he sensed my spirit and it was not right. I prayed and got a confirmation that what I was feeling was not right in this class. I do believe in evil spirits when I would go home there were noises in rooms that never had they before. When I mediated my dog would run out of the room. I believe that is what the priest felt about me was my spirit. I approached John the healer I told him what he was doing is wrong. When he saw me the color ran out of him. I stayed for the last time with this group and during this class he looked right at me and said "I won't believe Jesus walked on water til I walk on water." meaning John. My feeligs were right about John. Jesus is God and walked on water and John was comparing himself to God. Just know that if something does not feel right it is not right.

New Guy new way of solving murders

The story is about a woman that falls from a hotel building the day before she is to marry a billionaire Philip Marston. Marston owns the hotel and has 3 adult children. People think Diane committed suicide.
Most of the adult children work for him and have an alibi when Diane the future stepmother dies. The new DI Mooney gets a feeling Diane was murdered and he goes on to try to prove it. Dwayne, JP and Florence are not used to him yet as their supervisor but they stick with him. I like Mooney better than Goodman he is not as nuts the way he solves crimes like Goodman did with his quick movements when putting together the clues.
Things I noticed in the show. Officer J.P. Hooper played by Tobi Barkare wears a bracket with a cord on it with a Cross. I have seen the Cross on JP in many episodes and I love it. I did a search and found he really is a Christian and is proud of it. There is a video on Youtube being interview by Lady T on Gospel Drive
What I like about this series is that it has suspense and humor. They also show kindness and understanding with eachother and suspects.
What I don't like is they are always seem to promote drinking as reward for their success.

This is about a man that is killed in a hotel that his brother Elliot and his wife Linda own. Charlie Taylor the man killed had not seen his brother Elliot in 25 years.
It appears to be a burglary. His room is messed up, clothes are out of the draws and more.
This episode has 2 more things they focus on. One is DI Goodman the cop is in love with Martha. She visits him and has little time to spend with her because of his murder investigation and she is only there temporarily.
JP is having trouble with his wife Rosie. They argued for the first time since marriage, tried to talk about why they argued etc. Dwayne Myers is a cop and gives JP advice about women which is negative most of the time. Dwayne is a womanizer and flirt.
The end was disappointing to me. Goodman does not have his meeting with suspects as usual and would point out the killer. This time he confronted the killer and him and Florence showed too much sympathy for the killer who was not arrested publicly like all the other episodes and taken away by JP and Dwayne.. Also Elliot Taylor/Jason Hughes who was a cop Ben Jones in "Midsomer Murders" uses "Christ" name as a swearing word which I am totally against as a Christian.
As an aside I do love the series "Death in Paradise". The cast are funny and nice and the area where it is filmed is beautiful and colorful with bright colored outdoor markets and ocean scenes. Catherine, Camille's mother who owns a bar and restaurant is alway polite, helpful and funny.

A woman that is married and has two children is found hanged in her house. One coroner calls it suicide but the friend of Lewis who is also a coroner says it is murder.
There are many people in the story and it is hard to know who is who when first names are used and some times last names. It is also hard to understand their accent.
The story has many secrets in the family that go back years when one woman was a child. This secret seems to set off the murders that happen in the video. It is a very tense long movie. I saw this for free on Dailymotion

The Shakiest Gun in the West
This movie is so funny and many scenes are hysterical. Jesse W. Heywood/Don Knott's was studying to be a dentist. He has a female patient Mrs Stevenson/Katherine Barrett that won't open her mouth and he finally gets her mouth pried open puts in his finger and she bites it. His dental supervisor grabs her faces to show Jesses how to open her mouth and she kicks him. The expressions of Mrs Stevenson not opening her mouth is so funny. Jesse ends up fist fighting with her and they bat each other around. She fights like a man and almost wins til they end up on the ground and she is knocked out with her mouth open and Jesse works on her teeth. Jesse Heywood ends up graduating from dental school as a dentist. He wants to head west to do his dentistry. There are so many parts in this movie that are so funny.
A few parts I did not like where the women's dress are too revealing.
There are so many funny scenes. Dentist Heywood thinks he is a sharp shooter cause he shot a lot of Indians. His facial expressions of fears, pride and getting drunk are unbelievable.

This is about a golfer who is well known and has a lot of fans. She has diabetes and had a couple of bad episodes She ends up in hospital not known to her after a car crash. Hospital staff tell her about the hospital and the reason she is there because of the car accident. It was her boyfriends new car and he is in another country. She also has a rare blood type.The media thinks she is dead and she sees this on TV. She gave the doctors names and phone numbers to contact her friends before she see the announcement on TV that she is dead. Her boy loves her and cannot forget about her. Nancy is kept as a prisoner in the hospital for a specific reason. She can't leave the room the doctor and nurse keep giving her drugs, there are bars on her window and more. She starts to think something bad is going on.
Considering the suspense and the length of the movie it does not give a better ending to all that Nancy has been through and all the scary moments we endured for to many minutes. I don't think I will watch a Hammer House Mystery it was not like most mysteries.

I thought the movie was great. Lots of mystery Aurora works in the library and has a mystery club. Her boyfriend is the cop that played Murdoch in Murdoch Mystery series.
Aurora is called Ro by her friends. She gets involved in a murder mysteries with a female friend who is a reporter and some of her mystery club friends.
This story is about a missing family that went out to eat and never came back. Ro bought a house she had a walk through with her mother who is a realtor took her in the house that was for sale.
Then the mystery begins when Ro starts remembering the story that was in the paper. The family disappeared and never came back and the police never found the people dead or alive.
Great story if you can watch it. I saw it on YouTube.

I watched this today. A cop that helped get a criminal hung years ago gets angry that Rev. Henry Archery wants to open up the case.
Rev. Archery has a son who is going to marry the daughter of Painter the killer of Mrs Primeror. Archer is trying to proof Painter is innocent. During the pastor's snooping he falls in love with a married woman. His wife is not in the story dead or alive but his behavior to get to the truth makes a pastor looks stupid. Also there is a scene of Painter being hung is in front of a large Cross as if Jesus gave the okay.
There are many people brought up about the killing. Two adopted sister and a son born to the dead woman were questioned. Mrs Primero was killed when she was 90 and the pastor bringing out reasons why people wanted her dead maybe for money.
I think there is a lot of over acting by Mrs Crilling the mother of the young girl that found the body. Mrs Crilling shouts and does a lot of nutty stuff. If you watch it be patient. The movie I saw was about 1:54:00 +long. You might find it on Youtube

I watched the beginning of this movie cause I like Jackie Chan. I love the music David Buckley. This movie has a lot of fighting in the beginning. It is in a dream of a kid that named Jason Tripitikas/ Michael Angarano who is infatuated with Chinese fighting he goes to a shop to buy some books and notices a gold like pole that is used for fighting. The shop owner puts the pole back on the shelf. Jason leaves and is stopped by a bunch of men who are like bullies. The leader's name is Lupo. At some point Lupo attacks Jason in a vicious way by constantly slapping him in the face. Lupo makes fun of Jason cause Jason is interested in Tae Kwon Do. I am a Christian and what I see is a man->Lupo wearing a Cross acting very mean and each time he moves and hits Jason the camera focuses on the Cross on a chain around Lupo's neck. I find this very insulting portraying a mean individual that supposedly a Christian acting like a gangster. I don't insult anyone's religion, nobody is perfect but to focus on the Cross on the man that hits and shoots someone seems to be promoting intentional violence from a certain religion. My Savior Jesus Christ died on the Cross for me. Jesus is a forgiving God not a villain.
As an aside TV crime stories show men wearing Crosses on a chain and criminal women wearing earring with Crosses. They use the Cross to make Jesus look bad in these fake criminal shows
So as much as I like Jackie Chan and Kung Fu type movies I won't watch the rest of this propaganda movie.
This Sherlock Holmes movies is confusing and violent

I have many Sherlock Holmes movies some with Basil Rathbone, Ronald Howard, Christopher Lee, Ben Snyder and more.
This is the worst Sherlock Holmes "A Game of Shadows" 2011 I have ever seen with Robert Downey Jr as Sherlock Holmes. It has some humor in it but it does not equal the amount of violence right from the beginning. Many scenes of fist fighting, buildings and rooms being bombed and injured and dead bodies under the debris.
Robert Downey is dirty and injured 95% of the time when he is not in disguise so enemies do not recognize him
Some of the cast I liked was Jude Law plays Dr Watson,
Noomi Rapace as Madam Simza Heron who is looking for her brother
After watching this for 2 hours and 7 minutes the only thing I found out was is that Professor Moriarty is still Holmes evil enemy.I don't know what this movie was about. Every body seemed to be an enemy to each other and modern guns were being produced.
Downey Jr plays in more Holmes movies. I did not see them but after this one I probably won't see them. He may be a good actor but the whole movie was lousy. To me it is the producers, directors and writers fault not the actors.

This Sherlock Holmes story is different then many Sherlock's. He is young, curious, professional, respectful and kind.
It takes place in England and some of the characters are rude like a relative named Mrs Holmes. He lives with her for awhile and her daughter. His Uncle Gideon is an annoying man always eating and talking with his mouth full of food.
There are many characters in this. Some from India and others that are doctors and soldiers. Sherlock gets involved when a friend of his dies when they were supposed to meet.
Lots of surprises, lots of courage from Sherlock who is 6ft 4. The episodes are tense, boring. There is not much humor but lot's of mystery.
The first episode "The Young Master" is about 46 minutes long the other 7 episdoes are 23-25 minutes long your can watch on Youtube or download them. I would probably still watch "The Mystery of the Manor House again.

Trey a young boy's father dies and Ms Banner a woman in his school arranges for Trey to meet with Roy a fireman who lost his son in 911. The boy is positive and the fireman is kind of distant and a lot older. At some point they have a meeting of minds because they both like Soap Box Racing.
It shows how they deal with their hurt and anger from the past and also for losing a car race. Times change and Trey and Roy become friends but Roy is in some financial trouble.
Parts of the movie made me cry and laugh. It is a good family film full of real life sadness and joy.

There are many people on a ship stopping at different places.
There are men dressed like Arabs with turbans playing violin music while people are eating on the boat in the dining room. Music sounds so fake when you look at the band. David Niven befriends Poirot. Niven is the most real character as a lawyer in this movie.
People start getting killed and no one seems to know anything. There are a lot of stars in this and they all seem to be overacting. Angela Lansbury is one of my favorite actresses but not in this movie. She is loud, overdressed with jewels, constantly drunk and walks like a drunk in most of the scenes swaying from side to side.
Mia Farrow is given Morphia whatever that is to me it sounds like morphine. She screams acts nuts and has to be taken back to her room. She is on the boat with a previous boyfriend who is married to some one else and had maniac outburst and speech.
Bette Davis. She is dressed like a rich lady and loves her jewels. Her care taker is very bossy. Then there is the doctor who thinks he knows everything.
By the time you hear from Poirot at the end you wished you had not wasted your time waiting for who done what and why.
Peter Ustinov was not too bad but he was no David Suchet. Albert Finney played Poirot in another movie and he was worse then Ustinov. They all had fake accents in the Albert Finney Poirot you could not understand what they said.

This Miss Marple is very dissappointing

I always like Agatha Christie Miss Marple especially with Joan Hickson. Then things that went on in this episode woke me up. Supposedly this hotel was a high class hotel with rich people. The suspense surrounds different things that happen in the hotel. There are competing characters, Bess, Elvira, Michael Gorman, Ladislaus Malinowski and more. No Inspector Slack.
A woman that is highly respected is really the head of a group of thieves. She is having an affair with a man who is also going to marry her daughter.
What I find offensive is a man who sleeps around is a womanizer and questioned by police is wearing Christian Cross. I am a Christian and this is how they portrayed this man in this episode. That is the only time you see the Cross at all. I find the more I re-watch these videos the more I see they offend me. I don't know if Christie put these in her stories I never read her books. Many women played Miss Marple and they played in episodes by the same name but the episodes are similar but not the same. I support the law. I don't think criminals that do many bad things then confess to something they did not do to help someone else is "remarkable". I am very dissappointed in the way things turned out.
A woman that is highly respected is really the head of a group of thieves. She is having an affair with a man who is also going to marry her daughter.
What I find offensive is a man who sleeps around is a womanizer and questioned by police is wearing Christian Cross. I am a Christian and this is how they portrayed this man in this episode. That is the only time you see the Cross at all. I find the more I re-watch these videos the more I see they offend me. I don't know if Christie put these in her stories I never read her books. Many women played Miss Marple and they played in episodes by the same name but the episodes are similar but not the same. Season 7 Episode 4 Starts with a man and wife holding hands in the water wearing Crosses around their necks.
The man is a Minister Steadman King . He starts off preaching to people seated under a tent about the power to heal. A lady he has known for years comes in with her nephew for a healing. She is having trouble seeing. The Minister gives her some holy water to drink from a cup and she falls to the ground after the Minster lays hands on her head for healing. The police are called. It is found out she died but not by natural causes.
There is a lot of bull in this. As a Christian this bothered me. In the end though the truth comes out about the so called "Christians" in this episode and Jesus is vindicated.
As an aside I noticed awhile back that JP Hooper the younger male cop always wears a string bracelet on his right wrist with a Cross hanging from it. He is never proclaimed a Christian in the series but he sure has the Spirit of one which I admire.
A new and funny part of this episode is a dog given to the police that wants to sleep all the time. The season with DI Mooney is pretty good. The rest of the police crew are always great.

Vacation, death and a wedding.

This episode starts with a lot of drinking and dancing, friends and mates sitting laughing and talking.
Later that night a woman that was on the island vacationing with her boyfriend of 2 years is found dead an apparent suicide. Sian was her name she was only 19 and her boyfriend much older.
After investigating DI Goodman's police crew find Sian had an affair with another man that was also visiting the island. This couple made out they did not know each other. Goodman is not sure it is a suicide yet. There is also a woman named Perrie who left her husband and newspapers reported her missing but she was alive and well and wanted a different life.
There are beautiful scenes in this episode like many scenes in this series but in this one there is a special wedding. Officer JP Hooper is getting married. The wedding takes place in a church. It is a very happy time for everyone including me.
DI Goodman still talks to much as usual but at the wedding he gets an idea and believes Sian did not kill herself and leaves the wedding to prove who did it.

Story of friendship and secrets

I thought this was a good story. Cedric the barber dies in the beginning of the episode. He has 3 friends that go way back when they were young.
Cedric dies and his death is suspicious a message on his phone shows up on a phone to cause DI Goodman to investigate if Cedric died by natural cause or if he was murdered.
Cedric had many friends. He was overweight, heavy drinker, had heart problems and more so his death seemed natural and people accepted it.
As the police start looking into things more they find out the close friends of Cedric have a secret to hide.
The ending is good. Goodman does not talk so much or over act like he had been in other episodes.

Interesting story but too much of Humphrey

I always liked Death in Paradise. The island is beautiful, the colors and clothes the people wear are bright and nice. This story is about a woman Gov that dies after she makes her last speech. Everyone seems to love her until it comes out later who might have a reason to harm her.
One part of this episode is about a clash between British and French about "Spinners Rock" a large rock out in the water.
The end tells the story and I won't tell what it is. I mainly want to comment about the changes in Death in Paradise. All the original characters are great but some are not on like DI Poole, Camille and Fidel. Dwayne is still on, the new male cop JP and female Florence all really nice characters and funny at times but smart. The one thing I don't like about these episodes is DI Goodman the head cop talks to much, acts stupid too much even though he solves the murders. Ben Miller/DI Poole the original head of police in Season 1,2 & Season 3 Episode 1 had some funny mannerisms but Kris Marshall/DI Goodman who took Millers place is awful. I think they should cut back on Humphrey's being clumsy so much and all the hand and face mannerisms too much is not funny. This episode is the 5th season. The episodes are good and lots of suspense. A lot more were made after this. I will get back to you another time.

Interesting episode. A man from Suarian is killed by a bomb. Lots of money is stolen from the safe. Another Suarian is blamed but it looks like he was framed and then shows up dead.
There are lots of men with head gear. Some are lopsided, some of the men have sideburns that are not covered and some have long curly hair that sticks out near their ears, really silly looking.
As usual Columbo examines everything and finds things that no one would find or put together.
Columbo annoys the killer. He bring up stuff he finds and the killer thinks he is free until he hears what Colombo finds.
The Suarian files a complaint against Columbo. Columbo agrees to say he is sorry. The new king is progressive and not liked by the leaders in charge.
So the show goes on and Columbo tells the killer he knows he killed and how he did it pretending to be somewhere else when the first man is murdered.
Immunity for foreign diplomat killers? Columbo and the king play lets make a deal.

Getting too sexual

I always loved this program but now since DS Florence Cassell/Joséphine Jobert took the place of the the female detective clothing changed The shorts are too short and we are supposed to believe these are cops. The males where full uniforms accept for Humphrey who is the head man who wheres a suit and not shorts.
The mystery that Humphrey describes is the killing of a man on vacation. A woman that is the wife of a rich man at the hotel is wearing a very revealing top and too much of her breast is showing. If she was in a movie it would be rated R for the clothing.
I don't know if I will watch this show anymore. I want to see the mystery and suspense in it. As a woman I don't want to see some one else's breast, I got my own

I did not watch all of it. I downloaded it awhile back. It seemed foolish. Three Chinese people hate the Japanese. There is a woman and 2 males one male is to fat to do any of this Kung Fu stuff. They are in Shanghai and get help going to Taiwan with the intent of revenge to fight the Japanese.
Jackie Chan is in this and his name is listed as Jacky Chan not Jackie Chan. "Detel Choi and Alan Linn" are not listed. "Nora Miao" is listed on this sight. Also the music name in the beginning of the movie is "Tong Wah" not the one listed on this page with I think this version is in a different language and they try to make it sound like the characters are speaking English. This movie was produced by "Alpha Films". So I don't know if this is the same movie but when it starts it says "New Fist of Fury"
Chan gets into a fight with two men. In other films he always comes out a winner. Well not in the beginning of this film about 9 minutes in he gets beat up by 2 men. He wants to act brave and talks like he is brave and says things like: "You bastards", "I hate your guts","Kiss my ass go on".
It does not sound like Jackie Chan's voice. Later there are a group of men and women getting drunk. Just seemed like a very tacky movie
I did not waste my time watching the rest of it.
