Directors Quest

by GuiF-A | created - 04 Sep 2011 | updated - 07 Apr 2022 | Public

This list features all of the directors whose filmography I have broadly explored. At the top you will find the ones I really love and further down the ones I dislike the most. I still have many filmmakers to discover, so if one is missing it is simply because I haven't gotten around to see (most of) their films, and not because I don't like their work. For the filmographies I am currently working on see the bottom of the list. Only filmmakers who have made at least 3 full-length features or 6 shorts are added, unless they are no longer active.

Latest Updates: ∙ Albert Brooks - Several films ∙ Apichatpong Weerasethakul - Memoria ∙ Joachim Trier - Full Filmography ∙ Edgar Wright - Last Night in Soho
