A more modern take on "Death of a Salesman," it shows the beauty that can be found in everyday life, even in seemingly mundane American suburbia. The value of a single human life is on full display. The entire cast delivers powerful performances of such a beautifully written story. Suburban life never looked so artistic!

2. La haine (1995)

This French film about three friends of Jewish, African, and Maghreb decent in suburban Paris on the surface takes a look at the hard life of minorities in French Society. However, it has a deeper meaning about the sheer power of hate (the title in English is "hate") that is able to resonate with society as a whole. With a powerful ending, it leaves the audience thinking about the influence emotion has on human life.

One of those films that everyone has seen unless you live under a rock, the imagination in this classic is something to be cherished for generations.

This larger than life classic basically defines what it means to be epic. Every aspect of the movie is meant to amaze the audience, and it does so admirably.

After the crew becomes sick with food poisoning, a neurotic ex-fighter pilot must safely land a commercial airplane full of passengers.

A comedy classic, there are few comedies that can match its standard. The rapid fire comedy and memorable one-liners make this perhaps the funniest movie of all time!

This stunningly beautiful film basically launched my fascination with Chinese culture. It captivates the audience with more than just its music and setting, but also its story that displays the complexity of human relationships.
