Review of Mariner

Mariner (2016)
the pressure
31 December 2022
A student in navigation. A terrible memory from childhood haunting him. Ways to have results at exams. And the obstacles, fails, new chanses. The fear remains the same , stoping him to be more than victim of it.

A short film reflecting, in fair, precise manner, a state familiar for many from us. Maybe , not at this intensity but enough for understand, maybe feel the terrible pressure .

The good points - the inspired script and the beautiful acting of Thomas Anthony Olajide. The anxiety is reflected in impecable manner , the story becomes, scene by scene , more darker and Nate seems used by the people around him, from the need of respect of diversity principle to the games of mates.
