After a couple of dozen Korean series, this is by far my favorite with the most satisfying ending! The pacing wasn't bad. It kept me wanting more! The characters were all like able. After going back in time to get the woman he really wanted, he quickly finds out that she's not the perfect girl he thought she was. He's your typical wealthy woman that has the snobby side to her. I'm not saying that all wealthy women acts like her, but I would say a lot of them are. I knew that the way he was treating his original wife was not becoming a good husband as he was totally neglecting her and blaming her for everything going wrong with their marriage. The new version of his original wife was more independent and grew to be a fun and outgoing. Was it a perfect series? No. There are little things in the series that made me question the writer and director's thinking and storytelling. I can't name all of them, but here's a few- 1) they have a habit of leaving their car right in the middle of traffic because they need to get somewhere quick?? That does not make sense to me. 2) Before the original wife went back in time, how did she even know where to go to get there? The mother did not tell her. She just knew where to go and what the coin was for? The husband found it because he was kind of lost. He got to the toll booth by accident. I went back to look for answers but there was none. 3) Near the end of the series, another car arrives at the toll booth. Who was this? I thought maybe someone else was going to ruin or changed their finally perfect union?? The series end with no answers to the new mysterious car that went through. Those are some of the holes that made me scratch my head on "WTF?" Overall, it was my favorite K-series. A great soundtrack. Great cast. AND the most satisfying ending for the couple of dozen I've seen so far! When the husband was given his promotion gift from his wife...I jumped for joy just as much as he did! I give it 10/10 (even the questionable holes I mentioned) because it came full circle with the most positive results! Totally recommend it! American series wish they can write something like this!
