Best season and episode
egoand55 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This season reminds to all doctors all over the world the problems and emotions that we had to treat the covid at first time. Bringing lexy and Mark again yo the show was the best decision, now we just need Cristina back.

A VERY HAPPY EPISODE!
theriaultOwen2 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This was one of, if not, the best episode of Greys Anatomy season 17 so far. Lexie was on the beach with Meredith with was AMAZING! And then *spoiler* *spoiler* MARK FREAKIN' SLOAN was on the beach with her! The beach scene were incredible this episode. I felt that they were getting kind of stale, but this just turned it around! Little Grey pushing Big Grey on the swing! Meredith finally getting taken off the vent! And then Winston proposing to Maggie! All in all, the was a very good episode of Greys Anatomy. A very happy episode, which was much needed. Also, Schmitts rapping was on point.

So many lessons
mateofinessi5 April 2021
This is the best and happiest episode of the season for me. Lexie telling Meredith not to waste her life was a really powerful scene and dialogue. There are also some powerful images such as the Dr. Mother/Daughter combo crying and hugging while the patient Mother/Daughter combo are breathing on a tube behind them. I was also even happy for Maggie, who i can't stand very much. So yeah, very good episode with a lot of lessons to be learned.

Remember Lexie once sang the song Breathe?
pkuhongy2 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
So last week, we'd already known that Lexie would return on the magic beach of Grey's Anatomy, and guess what, Mark returned with her!! It was such an unexpected surprise that nearly took my breath away, since I have been re-watching GA for a millionth time recently and I have just finished the scene where Lexie burst out telling Mark that she was "infected by Mark Sloan" and she "LOVES HIM" after work, and now I get to see this!!! OMG. Oh and seeing Cristina's texts also made me smile for quite a while.

I don't know if you have noticed, but GA has always had a thing for ghosts (probably because the show has taken away too many lives?), and the setting that the dead would still stay with the living in a certain way has already appeared previously in the episode in which Meredith drowned, and this magic beach thing just takes it to a whole new level. If it were any other MEDICAL DRAMA, I wouldn't have liked it so much, cuz it seems a bit unscientific, but well... what can I say? I just love it when those we miss and love return.

Also, the name of this episode is pretty pertinent, for it not only refers to Meredith being able to breathe on her own, off the vent, but it is also a reminiscence of the song Lexie once sang when Callie was injured in the car accident in Season 7, which I'm sure you probably have noticed. All in all, it is a fairly sweet episode.

Amazing, incredible, showstopping

I really loved this episode, the series could end right now and i wouldn't mind. I feel like everything that was unfinished from past seasons is now solved. Very emotional in many ways. Simply loved it.

Brutal

So the story here is that they have a shortage of ventilators and Meredith is using one up while she hangs out on a beach and tries to decide if she wants to live and go back to her kids or just die? What a great human she is.

Best episode this season
jjvintimilla4 April 2021
This episode was great. People say they're tired of covid storylines but I think episodes like this right here turn things around and make us take a look into how we're handling ourselves this pandemic. The storyline of the patients was beautiful and plays a tribute to the hard choices doctors have to do today. And of course Lexie & Mark are EVERYTHING. They were my favorite characters so of course I died with this episode but also they did an amazing job considering Chyler was in Canada and her words really touched my heart. Amazing and inspiring, that's how I describe this episode.

That's where you know the show should end.

When it gets 10/10 for bringing back dead characters. Just kill them off already, and create a Grey Sloan Memorial in heaven... Oh look, another haters squad disliked my comment, lol...

Another terrible episode
melcauble11 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I can't wait till this season is over. The scenes on the beach are ridiculous and only for the fans who thrive in the melodramatic. The show can't even afford a fake robot Meredith for the hospital scenes that looks remotely like the actress? Of course, that thing laying in bed is a better actress than Ellen Pompeo. I know COVID has affected us all in a horrible way but this show doesn't need to wallow in it. There's just nothing good to say about the show or the episode.

We need better doctors
emily-uk8 May 2021
Honestly don't understand the drama in this one. We have had episodes with fires, power cuts and shooters. Why is the lack of a ventilator such a crisis. Didn't Alex and all the parents act as ventilators in the PICU in an episode when they lost powers and the back up batteries died? Why can't they do that now?

The doctors that are left are just boring and prefer to complain instead of problem solve.

Adding victim blaming now?
RaeGal-4461120 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
So it's not bad enough that people have Covid, now they imply that it's the victims fault that their parent has Covid??

Like anyone needs to feel guilty over being sick. Just end the show now.... I only watched to see Mark and Lexi and that was even poorly done.

A very mediocre episode
pjfmpijmdh9 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Lexi and Marc are back but they only end up together on Meredith's beach. In her head. And the fact she cannot make up her mind whether to fight and return to her kids??!!! They've already lost one parent! No idea why ppl love her so much. And then when she wakes up the first thing she says is we need to talk about Wilson... really? That's the most important thing she's heard while asleep? There were a dozen people talking about her kids and she only cares about a person she's not even that close with, that she despised for the better part of her time at Grey-Sloan. I know it added a dramatic effect but come on.
