two men

It is a special film. For the levels to discover it. For the minimalism of story and performance. For the relation between characters and for the references to El Greco and Caravaggio. And , sure, for the theme of AIDS as axis of the meeting between two lovers, after long time, with the mix of fear and love and frustration and desire, the last scene defining the essence of drama in inspired manner. A film of loss and its price, about memories and deep solitude. And, sure, about acceptance. Unconventional, almost a theater play, using all familiar tools. After its end, the bitter poetry of image becomes the lead trait for remember it.
