What started on Christmas passed by Easter and is gonna finish up on Halloween.

Oh my goodness,, How much this show is so underrated !! and I thought for a second that nothing can top the last season creepiness !

The plot stood up strong and kept on the fun element wrapped up by a lot of thrill, action and heads decapitating !! I think haven't seen so much blood since i don't know !! 300 !!! but what's weird is it all seemed fun !! and in one episode there was that big fight of Sax and the prisoners in the house with all the 360 degree camera movement !! it all looked brilliantly directed .

Each and every member of the cast developed his/her character in an amazing way ... it looked now more like a pro act in a 10th season thriller .. this season though we seem to have lost a couple of characters ,, but boy there are so much to do in the Halloween season "if there'll be any".

So speaking of "next seasons", Syfy has not yet made any decisions ,, the show had a bit a rough patch with the viewership but it is way too popular than many other shows in the network so ,, my expectations (hopes) is we'll see Christopher Meloni and Happy the imaginary donkey/unicorn by next years April ;)

Pure bloody fun

You really have to embrace the ridiculousness to let yourself enjoy this show. Sometimes it's nonsense, sometimes funny, sometimes artistic and mostly unneccessarily gory, crazy and violent. But, for me, it all works. It's like a weird cartoon graphic novel. The actors were all perfect in their roles. I thought both seasons were great and I look forward to season 3.

Warning: Spoilers
Way to go zombie Sax! Hailey the Hitter~! Next Halloween is going to be outstanding with Smooth's head and I'm hoping he comes back too! He is Sax's ultimate enemy and you rate your life on your enemies Sax has them all~! Nice to hear Jeff Goldbaum as God and Happy finding out Nick is alive too! His relationship with Bo Peep will be intriguing too. I really wish I had wrote this series. I don't think I have thought this bizarre in such a long time. Thank You for another great season! I will enjoy it foreverly~!

So i almost stopped watching the first episode of this season...But man am i glad I stuck in there..THe story is crazy, cartoony, gory, makes ZERO sense and yet its one of the best things Ive ever seen. It must be up there with "Scroty Mcboogerballs" If I stop to think about anything my brain hurts...but going with the flow I love Nick Sax...And Happy is pretty cool too..But NICK is awesome...HAPPY... RULES!

Season Two Review
southdavid4 July 2019
I'm not sure I've ever known quite such a profound turnaround in my opinion of a show from one season to the next as my declining admiration for "Happy" caused by this second season. Season one was a bold and confident show, that after a shaky start was very entertaining. Season two is a mess of jumbled plots and ideas, most of which don't pay off and was a real chore to get through.

Though his daughter is saved, the effects of the events of the first season are still being felt by Nick (Christopher Meloni) and his family. His ex-wife Amanda (Median Senghore) is unable to quite remember what happened to her in that night at Sonny Shine's (Christopher Fitzgerald) fetish party and his ex-Partner is still intent on bringing Shine to justice.

Though it does rally a bit for the last couple of episodes of this season, for the most part I genuinely thought it was awful. There's a fine line between irreverent and stupid and unfortunately the wavered way beyond the threshold for most of it, leading you down plot cul-de-sacs, seemingly just to give characters something to do so they were still around for the end of it. Personally, I'd have left at least one of the three villainous characters out of this season, and saved them for a potential third run. I might even have gone for a full split away from all of the rest of the characters and have Nick and Happy work a new case together.

I still enjoyed the manic violence, and the tone of the series and I still felt like Chris Meloni was having a good time. I wanted to spend time with the character of Nick, which also made the tangents with Happy and Amanda all the more annoying.

Cut down to a couple of hours, there's probably a decent film that could be made from this season, but it too bloated with rubbish subplots to make it worthwhile.

Dumb and not in a good way
mrjrhirst19 September 2019
I loved the first season of happy season 2 was such a let down even after a good start. many of the plot strands didn't really go anywhere and others just didn't make sense as if they're alright as hadn't really bothered 2 to think about what they were doing.the end of the season where Hayley's mother and father managed to inflict upon her trauma far worse than that imagined by the bad guys is just one example. What were they thinking? Some good observations like the relationship between imaginary friends and other supernatural beings are lost amongst the drivel. A confused mess. Not sure I'll be tuning in for season 3.
