This movie is a mess. Most things just happens for the sake is happening, the plot makes no sense and it wastes a somewhat good cast. We are supposed to believe that 1 person, Dr. Reyes, can control 5 mutants teenagers (that have never talk to each other, because they know nothing about each other) at all time but is taking down by surprise by the weakest one of them without fighting back. The romance plot I'll pretend didn't happen because it appears from thin air and doesn't even matter. This movie feels dragged out and rushed at the same time.

I honestly think it was a very fun show to watch. The Sehun + brother scenes were my favorite part. The amulet subplot was a bit meh but I understand how it fits in the story. I like how the characters were connected from childhood and how we don't have a perfect happy ending. But I feel that the love triangle was not done well. We just have D.O being heartbroken in the end without anybody knowing, well, except Baekhyun ( who didn't have much to do on the show). That monologue about being alone and only being her friend was not a good closing point for D.O's character.

I understand that it's a very short runtime but in the end I feel we didn't have much of a story. It would have been better to focus more in the making a movie or the love story, and cut some of the extra stuff, like the family and the Samsung contest. I'm not even sure any of the characters is likable.

I can understand the buzz around this movie and it was very well done. Unfortunately the story is a bit slow and blend in my opinion, the non ending also doesn't help a lot. The brothers scene near the ending was nice and important. In the end, unfortunately, I don't care enough about any characters to feel good or bad dor them.
The fact that the main actor even gives me Chalamet vibes made it impossible for me not to draw parallels to CMBYN. Both main characters have the female " special friend" until an outside guy comes around and turns their life around, just for them to go back to where they came from and get back and get engaged. The brother talk is the dad talk in CMBYN.

I gotta admit this movie took some time to actually make me care about anything that was on screen. I understand that the older brother was crafted to be unlikable, but it looks like he did things just for the sake of doing it. After we start to peel some layers and get to know more about their history, the movie starts to show he's teu potential as a good movie. I understand that we need to have them at odds in the first half to get the payoff of that the ending, but I wish the first part was done better. The actors are great and have chemistry together. I really appreciate the fact that they didn't try to make Doo-young and the coach a thing.

That ending! I had heard that this was not a movie with a happy ending but I imagined it meant things would not go perfect, and it's a war movie after all. But I was definitely not expecting everyone to die so tragically in one bloody moment. This movie will obviously be on the radar of people interested in the Korean War and, obviously, to all Doh Kyung-soo fans. But this is a hard movie to sell to most people without giving the story away but explaining enough so it doesn't appear to be just a tap dancing movie.

It's refreshing to see a half hour show that's not a sitcom. But just like most sitcom episodes, Emily in Paris lacks an overall plot to be developed or even stakes. Everything goes Emily's way in the end every time, all the guys love her, her ideas are always the best and it looks like her closet never ends. And that's the problem. It's all too perfect, always.

I actually stopped watching the show during the first couple episodes of season 4 but after the show was over I decided to go back and watch it. I like season 5 and it brought us interesting developments, but I feel that season 4's ending would have been the perfect series finale.

I move the musical, the cast and the songs. But I feel like the way this was recorded took out some of the magic of the stage version. One of the most interesting aspects about the musical is the minimal staging, the all happens in the same overall place. The excessive closeup of actor singing and changes of camera took me out of the moment, specially the back of the stage camera angle.
