Pelicula que se centra en el proceso de creación de la pagina web, y que se mete a retratar el mundo de Harvard, donde para ser exitoso, hay que ganarse enemigos. David Fincher filma su proyecto menos ambicioso de los últimos años, y logra la que junto a Zodiac puede ser su mejor pelicula. Por lejos la mejor pelicula que nos ha traido Hollywood este año, y que si no gana el Oscar a mejor pelicula es por que algo huele a podrido en la academia. Una nueva obra maestra de Fincher, que se consagra como uno de los mejores directores de la actualidad, con un guión excelente y una acertadisima banda sonora. Puede ser el "Citizen Kane" de la decada. Imposible no verla.

Hace tiempo que le vengo siguiendo el rastro a Christopher Nolan, ninguna de sus peliculas me ha dejado indiferente, y menos esta. Inception es una pelicula de ciencia ficción en una realidad donde la gente puede intervenir en los sueños de otras personas, y donde también existe la experiencia de compartir sueños. Es una pelicula menospreciada por su excesivo olor a Blockbuster, pero esta muy lejos de ser un común blockbuster. Es una pelicula altamente compleja y que requiere de un espectador atento, a diferencia de sus contemporaneas. Nolan construye un guión arquitectonico preciso, donde las piezas calzan de manera casi perfecta. Es una experiencia única, donde es el subconciente humando el que se ahonda. Puede ser la mejor pelicula de ciencia ficción desde Matrix. El mayor problema es que a diferencia de otras peliculas de ciencia ficción, no percibimos una critica trascendente del mundo actual, y queda como una simple pelicula de acción compleja. Pero en tiempos como estos, ¿Qué más podemos pedir?. Nolan ha hecho un nuevo gran blockbuster, tomandose el título del mejor realizador de grandes producciones en la actualidad. Si sigue así podría convertirse en el nuevo Kubrick.

Nadie se espero la grata sorpresa que provoco la última pelicula de Polanski. El trailer era muy malo, y todo apuntaba a que seria un exito solo por que el director estaba en la mira por estar prisionero. Si me preguntan a mi, esta debe ser la pelicula que más me sorprendio del año, por que era de las que menos confianza le tenía. The Ghost Writer es la historia de un escritor que debe escribirle la autobiografia al actual primer ministro de Inglaterra después del presunto suicidio del anterior escritor que estaba a cargo. La última pelicula de Polanski es un excelente ejercicio de dirección que eleva un guión simple y común y lo lleva a un nivel de grandeza. Polanski si algo saber hacer muy bien es dirigir, y esta pelicula no pertenece a su irregular filmografía, si no más bien al grupo de peliculas que han elevado a este director a ser uno de los más importantes de la historia del cine. The Ghost Writer es una pelicula con gusto a clasico que injustamente la academia a olvidado por completo. Los criticos la pondran en su lugar que merece en la historia.
