Aka ep176.1 Lyn and John make a collage by pasting egg shells, milk bottle tops, macaroni and various types of pasta on to a sheet of coloured cardboard. They sing the song of the week 'Aiken Drum. they make a fruit salad, then John looks at 'Bananas in Pyjamas' before running action. Lyn reads 'The Great Big Honey Hunt' and sings 'Here is the Beehive'. She is joined by John who blindfolds her and asks her to guess what kinds of food she is tasting. They sing 'Let's all eat...' with actions for bananas sandwich and spaghetti. Through the windows we see a family ordering spaghetti at a restaurant. John sings 'Spaghetti' with wriggling action. They say goodbye as they taste the fruit salad.

Benita and Don make playdough. They make a dough cake for Little Ted and sing 'Five Little Candles Straight and Tall'. The story is 'Birthday Soup'. They sing 'Happy Birthday' to Little Ted, then off to a restaurant to eat. Don sets up the restaurant, sweeps the floor and sets the table, singing 'This is the Way'. Benita dresses up as the waiter and also the cook, and takes the orders, then serves the meal. They sing 'Aiken Drum'. Through the windows some children cook pikelets. The program ends with Don and Benita washing the dishes and playing 'Wash the dishes, dry the dishes, turn the dishes over'.

Lyn sings 'Like a Leaf or Feather' and twirls about. The story is 'The Rain Puddle'. Both presenters sing 'Old Macdonald had a farm', Lyn miming a pig, and a hen. don has a small mirror. He draws a picture of a hen and plays with its reflection in the mirror. He and Lyn play a mirror game, copying each other. Through the windows monkeys and other animals are fed at the zoo. The program ends with the song 'Let's Go to the Zoo'.

aka ep 176.4 Lyn and John are preparing a shop. A box and box lid make the cash register with 'buttons' stuck on the top. Newspaper notes and bottle tops, lids and cardboard circles make coins and banknotes for the shop. John has 'ball' apples, 'rock potatoes', 'stick' beans and 'hair toggle' cherries in his greengrocer's shop. He sings 'One Potato'. Lyn draws pictures on her shopping list when she comes to buy. 'Do you Plant Your Cabbages' is sung with digging, tummy, elbow and chin verses. Story is about a caterpillar turning into a moth. After moth fluttering mime, fingers make moth and caterpillar actions. It's Jemima's turn to go shopping. She needs to choose the right shop to buy bones, butter, lemon, cabbage and finally currant buns. Lyn sings 'Five Currant Buns'. Through the windows we see a family shopping and afterwards John and Lyn sing the song of the week 'Aiken Drum', in which he wears 'green frog' buttons and sausage gloves reflecting some of the shops visited in the film.

Don and Lyn parade as King and Queen singing 'I am the King'. Benita makes junket and a milkshake. Lyn shakes a milkshake and she and Don sing 'Stand up, be tall'. Through the windows cows are milked in the Swiss Alps. Don and Lyn sing 'What can a cow do, but moo'. The program finishes with all three singing a series of nursery rhymes about food: Little Miss Muffet, Pat a Cake, Little Jack Horner and SIng a Song of Sixpence.

Through the windows there are several Chinese dragons. Jan is a dragon, she sings the 'Dragon Song'. John has on a cardboard dragon head. Jan gets under a sheet to be the dragon bottom. They dance about.

John and Noni tell the story of a day in the life of the household. The family end the day by going for a drive in a small box car. John and Noni sing 'Take You Riding'. Through the windows we see a miniature village in Holland. John sings 'Shake Yourself'. Noni enters encased in a large overcoat with Big Ted on her shoulders - she is Mr Tall. John puts on a duffle coat and gets down on his knees with hands in gum boots - he is Mr Small. They say goodbye.

aka ep177.5 Jan and John put Flo, the doll, in strange positions. Flo has no bones, she's full of paper. Jan sings the song of the week 'The Put it Song'. John looks at the pictures of people moving on the calendar. Jan has a three-layer jigsaw puzzle of a boy with the skin layer showing. She lifts off this layer bit by bit to reveal the skeleton underneath. John sings 'Dry Bones'. Jan replaces the 'skin' layer of the puzzle. John add the clothes layer. Jan sings 'Put on your new shoes' and mimes putting on T-shirt, underpants and jeans. The story 'The Beach' is told by John with the aid of a picture and stick-on figures. Jan sings 'Here is the Sea'. John has two fish - one uncooked, one cooked. He points out the relevant features of the uncooked fish and then lifts the flesh off the cooked fish to show part of the skeleton. Jan mimes throwing out a fishing line and then sings 'One, two, three. four, five'. Through the windows is a fish finger factory. John sings 'Jump'. Jan and Flo go fishing in a cardboard box. John joins them and they say goodbye.

Fido pulls the sledge and Don makes snowflakes fall on them. Don and Jan sing 'She'll be Coming Round the Mountain'. We see ice skating through the windows. Jan mimes ice skating. Don takes some hard orange ice blocks out of the refrigerator and shares them with Jan.

Noni draws doors and windows on a shoebox house to go by the block road. She makes a TV aerial for the house with paddle pop sticks and masking tape. John sings 'Here's a House' with actions, and Noni balances blocks to make a house, it topples over. John creates a traffic jam on the road with several box cars and a bus. He directs the traffic and clears the traffic jam. Noni sings 'Wheels of the Bus'. The clock shows one o'clock. The story is 'Who Holds up the Traffic?'. Noni mimes being an elephant - she sings 'Hey'Dee'. John has Humpty, Little Ted, and Jemima and he loads them on Noni's back for an elephant ride. Through the windows an elephant is being washed by keepers at a zoo. Noni and John sing 'One Little Elephant' as they balance Little Ted, Hamble and Jim along a piece of string. John mimes balancing along a piece of string. Noni balances blocks to make an over-pass on the road.

Noni has a farm with block fences. There is a box farm house and tractor. Noni puts cotton wool sheep in one paddock along with cardboard cylinder trees topped with green tissue paper and a cut-down cylinder water trough. John comes in driving an egg carton truck with cardboard cylinder cows on the back. They unload the cows in the paddock. Noni feeds the animals with packing straw loaded on the tray behind a tractor. John sings 'If you were a farmer' as he mimes milking the cows, feeding the chickens and mending the fences. The clock shows 5 o'clock. The story is 'The sick cow'. John sings 'Fooba Wooba John' and Noni and John play a mixed-up animal sound game. John sings 'Giddiap' with actions. Through the windows a vet tends to a horse, a calf and a piglet. Noni says 'This Little Pig' with actions. John delivers some egg carton pigs to the farm and they sing 'We're Going on a Tractor Today'.

At the supermarket, Benita puts Little Ted in a shopping trolley made from a traymobile. They collect the items for the toys from the cardboard box shelves. John is the checkout attendant. he sweeps the shop and picks up the rubbish to the tune 'Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush'. On the television we see a shadow puppet of 'The Garbage Man'. The clock shows six o'clock. The story is 'Peppery Pete' and is told by Benita and John. After the story, John gives the Play School cocky a biscuit. We watch cocky eat. John mimes eating as a cocky, an elephant, a tiger and a cow. Benita makes Muesli Munchies. John sings 'Pat-a-Cake' with actions. Through the windows is a floating market in South East Asia. John has the toys on a traymobile boat. He sings 'Row, row, row your boat'. Benita enters with a tea-trolley boat too. They 'sell' each other food.

Jan and John sing 'We're Going in a Van Today'. Jan unloads the block bed and table. The story is 'Moving Molly'. John sings 'Pussy on the Roof Tops' with actions. Jan shows pictures of a cat, a koala and a kangaroo carrying their babies. There is a man carrying a child in a basket on his back and a baby in a pram. Little Ted is a baby. John puts him in a traymobile pram. John sings 'Ha-ha-this-a-way', kicking like a baby and then crawling as a baby. Through the windows humans and animals carry their babies. Jan rocks Little Ted and sings 'Rock-a-bye-baby'. John comes in carrying lots of toys as babies. He puts some of his 'babies' in Little Ted's 'pram'.

Hand puppets are used to tell a story about three animals in the country who accidentally float down a river to the city. Jan does a windmill action and John places a toy windmill in a farm he has built with blocks. Jan builds a city and sings 'Build it Up'. John builds a bridge over the tractor tyre from the farm to the city, demonstrating that an arch strengthens a bridge's structure. Photographs of various bridges are seen and John sings 'London Bridge'. Through the windows we see a bridge opening and various types of boats. Tugs are shown helping to dock a container ship. Home made boats are floated around the tractor tyre.
