Aka ep111.1 Deborah and Jay complete a mural of a rural landscape using roller painting and items from the Useful Box. Jay makes clouds from fluffy cotton wool and Deborah uses a ball of tissue paper for the sun. Jay and Deborah have fun playing as a cloud and the wind. Jay explores the possibilities of a rain stick. Jay tries foot clapping - a bit tricky. He sings " Let's Have a Big Hand for Feet " and tries other tricky actions for feet. Jay and Deborah build a bridge from boxes so the toys can cross the river to share in a picnic. They share the picnic until they are disturbed by a storm (created using crepe paper streamers for rain, crashing saucepans for thunder and a rain stick for rain noises).

Deborah and Andrew play a hiding and guessing game for some of the toys using a cut away cardboard box. Only the feet of each toy are revealed. Andrew is a jumpy, bouncing Jack-in-a-box. He jumps out of the box and all around until the music stops. Deborah makes a platypus from a pillowcase with a towel inside, an oven mitt, gardening gloves and a hair scrunchy. Deborah and Andrew swim, dive and dig like a platypus.

Ducks and ducklings in Play School today. Deborah and Jay watch the ducks carefully studying their webbed feet. Jay waddles, swims and flies like a duck. Jay kneads pre-made dough, adds coloured liquid to flour and mixes it together to make some more dough for Deborah. Deborah uses dough and cutters to make shapes - butterflies, fish, ducks and bears. Deborah and Jay make a crazy "poggle doggle" pizza with beautiful brightly coloured animal toppings. They have great fun with a kitchen orchestra. Together, Deborah and Jay feed the mother duck soggy bread scraps and her ducklings special duckling mash.

Andrew plaits ribbons into Leah's hair Leah plaits ribbons to make a friendship bracelet for Andrew. Andrew finds a ribbon streamer and uses it for dancing and twirling around. Leah and Andrew play instruments created from recycled materials - a cardboard tube and funnel trumpet, a big tin drum and a cardboard box double bass. Leah decorates a straw hat with flowers made from scrap materials from the useful box. Leah balances her hat upside down on her head, then on one hand and then also while balancing on one leg - very tricky. Leah and Andrew play with the toys within the Play School Big Top circus. Andrew helps Jemima to tight rope walk. Big Ted performs an amazing trick with scarves. Diddle performs an incredible jump on the trampoline. Maurice the clown tricks Diddle with a bucket of confetti. Leah and Andrew also have fun with their legs tied together for a three legged walk and balancing.

Leah and Andrew make a hang glider for Jemima. The hang glider is made from cardboard and pipe cleaners. A container becomes a helmet and a sock is used to hold her legs. An island has been made from a pile of pillows and Sofya signs directions for Jemima to land safely on the island. Andrew, Sofya and Jemima share a picnic on Pillow Island. Leah paints blue sea and red and green slimy seaweed onto a perspex screen using a big sponge and her fingers. She uses different movements of her hand to represent different sea creatures - fish and crabs and jellyfish. Andrew moves his whole body like a jellyfish and is joined by Leah and Sofya. Sofya has fun deciding what time it will be on the Play School clock.

Deborah makes a collage picture of a train. Mark and the viewer guess what it is. Next time the picture is an echidna, followed by a bee. A cubby is made from a table and a blanket. It is then furnished for Jemima, Humpty and Little Ted. A happy face is created from coloured stones, and then they are used for a simple treasure hunt.

Karen and Rhys cook some dahl, grate a carrot, chop cucumber, slice a banana and add to yoghurt with coconut and sultanas. Rhys watches some pappadams puff up in the pan. These are added to a tray full of small bowls of different foods including the now cooked dahl. Little Ted is dressed as an astronaut to visit space in a colander and meets Jemima in a blender.

Aka season113 ep1. A game is played with a person drawn on a wheel. The wheel is spun and wherever it stops eg head, arms, or legs appropriate actions are done. Karen finishes painting a Palamino cardboard roll horse. It joins a grey, bay and piebald horse, ready to be exercised and fed. Finally they are put in a box stable. The Play School Sports Carnival features a sack race, a pebble and spoon race and jumping event.

Aka s113.3 A Shetland Pony, Pebbles, visits with their owner Alyssa, and features such as eyes, nose, hooves etc., are looked at. Leah feeds Pebbles some apple. Using soap flakes a thick paint is made. Different colours are added to make a picture. Leah makes a simple horse out of a chair and takes Big Ted for a ride. Through the diamond window Buster and Shirley the dogs get haircuts and Moppet the dog has a wash and blow dry at the dog salon.

Aka s113.4 Pictures are created by rubbing a crayon over different textured objects. With a candle, Leah rubs to make an invisible leaf shape. It is revealed when painted. Three famous paintings of horses are enjoyed. From rubber gloves, zebra and horse puppets are made. The Play School fun fair is made and includes a mini clothes line carousel, a slippery dip and a lazy susan boats ride.
