Aka ep89.1 Making hats from materials out of the Useful Box. A cardboard sun hat and a cellophane rain hat are made. A 'Match the Hat' game is played. Hats must be found and matched to the outfits on display such as a police uniform, rain clothes and a clown's outfit. The cardboard sun hat is changed into 'Sun Hat Hill' where paper flowers grow.

A puppet theatre is made from a large sombrero hat with a cloth draped down from the brim to hide the puppeteer. A performance then takes place. The sombrero is changed into a hat merry-go-round. Kittens visit Play School Three cardboard cats and a hat are made for a puppet rhyme. A Mexican hat dance is performed by Trisha and George.

Making a jungle mural that incorporates a river and animals. Lisa is dressed as a jungle explorer and explores the jungle. Making a suspension bridge out of pantyhose and kitchen scourers to cross the jungle river. Dramatic Play: Fire Engine play. Angela, Glenn and Big Ted are fire fighters heading for a fire. Dressing up in a Hatapatasaurus hat.

Measuring and comparing Benita's height to Colin's. Measuring the height of the toys. Investigating the number of seeds that can be found in some flowers, fruit and vegetable. Pretending to be a tiny seed that grows into a tall sunflower. Looking at photos of Colin as a toddler, school boy and adult.

Noni plays a rhyming name game. David makes a set of domino cards using stamps of the Play School toys. The cards are shared out between Noni and David for a domino game. David and Noni play shadow dress-ups. Noni paints a person and makes a print. The result is two people who look exactly the same.

Angela and Glenn make phones out of cardboard boxes Dramatic play: Angela and Glenn phone each other to arrange a meeting at "The Coffee Shop". Glenn opens some letters sent by children to Play School. Glenn and Angela play with a table changing it into a boat then a bath then a log for a frog. Lisa and Kim have a birthday party and the toys visit.

Aka ep92.1 Making a weather box. The weather conditions change from sunshine to rain George presents the Play School weather report. Playing a high, low game. Where do the objects belong - in the sky or on the ground? Dramatic play: George goes on a tram ride. As the weather changes, so does his destination.

Diddle, Fergus and Scrap are the 3 toys in a tub for the rhyme 'Rub a Dub-Dub.' An upsy down picture game is played. Monica draws a picture first. Aka ep94.1 Roller painting a blue sea scape. Making Fish out of items from the useful Box. The fish and washing basket Rocks are added to the sea scape. Dramatic play: George pretends to be various sea creatures hiding from Angela the hungry Shark. Angela and George play a Little Nippers game......running, jumping and walking backwards on the 'beach'.

Colin and Benita blow bubbles. Benita uses a straw to blow into a cup covered with a stocking, to create a bubble cloud. A bubble picture is made by placing a piece of paper onto the bubble cloud. Colin gives Meeka a bath and shampoos her hair. Benita uses a bath and various items to create a horse, a man and a boat. Colin dresses appropriately.

Benita makes a jet plane, Simon a helicopter and Deborah a sea plane. Benita cleans the Play School fish tank. Adding fresh water and water snails. Bit and Bot the Play School fish are fed. Deborah introduces actions to the Murray Island song 'Taba Naba'. Islands are created from cushions and yellow sheets on a blue carpet sea. Dramatic play: Kim is taken by pilot Jemima on an island adventure tour. They visit Mud Island, Rocky Island and Comfortable Cushion Island where repairs are carried out on their plane.

Aka ep95.1 Angela and Glenn complete the construction of a box crane and explain how it operates. Dramatic play: Angela is a crane driver and Glenn a building supervisor. Between them they build a block of cardboard box units. The toys inspect the block of units and select one each to live in. The crane is transformed into a lift and Meeka visits Jemima's unit.

Trisha and David show how to whisk eggs, first by hand then with simple machines then with a more complex machine. Making an egg flip. Dramatic Play: The egg-shell 'Eggs-press' train takes a tour through Kitchen Valley, past Cereal Box City to the ancient Orange Pyramid and back. Cooking French Toast.

Making a dancing dolly machine - using 2 cotton reels , a rubber band and a peg as the dancing dolly. Changing the dancing dolly machine into a machine to help - Jack and Jill climb up the hill; - Eency Weency climb the water pout; - The mouse run up the clock. Using wooden off cuts and hooks, Glenn creates Freda the wooden lady.

Aka ep96.1 Laying down various shoes for a movement game. The forward facing shoe means "walk". The sideways shoe means "stop". George makes some tap shoes for Jemima out of cut-down cardboard boxes using washers for the taps. The presenters dance in various styles - tap, ballet, rock 'n roll, belly dancing and line dancing. The toys dress up to dance to "Zorba the Greek".

The Presenters make things out of socks using paper stickers for features: a platypus, an octopus and a rabbit. Sock rabbits are used to tell the poem "There Once was a Rabbit". George makes a glove into a "foot chook" who looks for worms. The worms are Angela's fingers in rubber gloves poking through holes in fabric. The presenters become a rubber glove factory producing with increasing speed.

The presenters make cardboard mice and a cardboard cat. The cat is in three parts held together with split clips. It is operated with two chopsticks. The presenters play a cat and mouse game. Deborah shows some toys' tails through holes in fabric for a guessing game, then the toys are used as part of the dance "La Bamba. Deborah dances as a kangaroo, a grey brolga and an emu. Simon is an emu using a circle of fabric, then a frill neck lizard with his head through the fabric. He finds another frill neck lizard.

Making people out of mops (Moppet and Sloppet) and pushing the plastic sleeve up to give them short and long hair. The mops are given stickers for faces and bodies of cardboard sections attached by split clips. Glen shows a wooden "Stanley" figure similar to the ones in the animation. Glenn draws round his feet to make The Twinkle Toe brothers, dancing foot puppets to cardboard cylinders. They perform in a cardboard box theatre. Moppet and Sloppet are dressed for dancing and perform to "Shout", then it's the presenters' turn. Through the windows Colin sings about his New Shoelaces at the Chinese Gardens, Sydney.

Angela and Glenn make three speckled frogs out of cardboard, a log from a ruler and cardboard box and a pool from a piece of bubble wrap. The frogs are catapulted into the pool. The presenters try balancing on one leg. Angela dances a string puppet then an Indonesian rod puppet. She then makes a dancing dolly.

A dolls' house is set up with appropriate furniture for each room Pipe-cleaner characters are introduced. All the family is fast asleep but Harry can't get comfortable. Finally he snuggles into bed with Mum and Dad. A paper plate face is given playdough features to look sleepy, grumpy, surprised and happy. Trisha has a hat shop and David selects different hats.
