Being the double of one of saddams son, is quit a shock compared to the life he had before. But choice in iraq that days was relative so he has to be the double.
He witnesses the total lack of respect for human life of the son he doubles. The son is hated and as his stand in, he escapes several murder attempts.
But the way he looks at it, is that he considers himself dead the moment he was chosen. So, nothing to loose, he refuses to join the tempting but rotten way of life of Uday.
Well acted, imagine yourself in that situation. Although some scenes are chilling, it could have had a bit more spice to add to the depressing atmosphere of living under a dictatorship.

If you sow violence, you reap death. This movie proves it again. English criminals dubbelcrossing and killing each other. A hooilgan rises in the ranks but turns out to be a little more clever and less gready than the average criminal. He stays away from heroïn for example. You don't want to get involved with the mafia around that commodity.
I liked the different possible storylines at the end. How naive can a criminal be.

Catching movie in that the topic is gruwesome. Unbelievable these kind of men exist. Only money is important, no respect for human life whatsoever (and have no illusions, most girls in western brothels are also forced to work...).
Rachel Weisz plays an american cop, working in Bosnia during the aftermatch of the balkan wars. The power vacuum is well exploited by criminals and officials. Young women are recruited and forced to work in brothels, so to say to pay their "debt" to their capturers. T put it in other words: the girls are exploited forced to prostitue themselves, often mutilated or killed in the proces.
Bolkovac discovers this racket and promises the girls safety. How little did she know about what really was going on, since the brothels are mostly visited by Police, local government and UN-officials. And since UN does not want a scandal, they cover it up at the highest levels.
Good acting, perhaps a little bit too much Weisz. But she makes you feel as helpless as the real Bolkovac must have felt. You see it happening, the solution is simple but they just don't want to do anything....and get away with it.
